Tecnifibre adds some power and stability to the TFlash 300 but still manages to keep the speed, spin and precision of the previous generations.
This racket's signature technology is called Power Stab, which uses a convex throat piece to create longer more powerful main strings. Additionally, Tecnifibre reinforces the cross-section of the throat by 10% for added torsional stability (think comfort and control).
To protect the racket's head from court wear, Technifibre updates its already impressive bumper system with Armor Cap+. This racket also features EZ Lock Eyelets to make for easier and more secure knot tying during string installation. With their Sensor Link technology, Tecnifibre adds a soft polymer to the graphite layup. As a result, this racket does a great job reducing the harsh vibrations that come from ball impact.
At 300 grams (unstrung), this stick has the speed for scrambling and cranking winners on the run, but it also delivers enough smass for counter-punching against pace and driving the ball through the court.
On volleys, as we found with the previous generation, this racket draws a nice compromise between speed and stability. Although it gets pushed around more than a traditional player's racket, the TFlash 300 Power Stab feels impressively solid for its weight class.
Finally, the combination of power, spin and precision should give aggressive servers the ability to force some very weak replies.
With some significant updates to the frame geometry and feel, the TFlash 300 Power Stab continues to be a great option for intermediate players looking for a lively and precise racket. It should also appeal to the more advanced player who wants a light and speedy player's racket.
